How we got started
In 2008 three golf fanatics decided to bring Par Three Golf back to Lakeville. They had a simple philosophy. “Make it the best; Make it fun; and make it easy on the wallet”
After months of complete renovated, the Back Nine Club opened its doors on May 23rd, 2008. The famous course layout was kept intact, but many aesthetic and practical changes were made. With the hard work of some of Massachusetts best Greens keepers, the course was made better than ever.
Including paved cart paths, and additional tees to please every golfer from beginner to professional.
Never having a full restaurant, the clubhouse was completely changed from the inside to the outside. A new bar was installed, new paint was applied, a basement was turned into a fantastic function room, a new, full kitchen was put in place and that just begins to describe the interior. On the outside, new siding was installed, new doors and windows and a new roof all made for a wonderful transformation to this classic property. More recently, another renovation took place in the spring of 2012. We fully upgraded and rebuilt our kitchen, dining area and function facility to better serve our customers. Because of this transformation, the dining room has become even more family-friendly with the addition of booths and a quieter, back section. Our function facility’s upgrades have also allowed us to expand our services for parties. We are able to host birthday parties, engagement parties, weddings and anything in between in our new room.
The Back Nine Club is committed to giving every single person who walks on the property a memorable golfing and/or dining experience. With 18 holes for as little as $18, we offer the best deal in golf and our meals reflect that same good value. There is not a better place in Lakeville for a total golf experience, whether it is with friends, family or someone you met on the putting green. Give us a call today and come see for yourself: The Back Nine.
The Back Nine Club is a unique golfing experience. An executive style course, certified “Beginner Friendly” in 2002 by the National Golf Course Owners Association, The Back Nine Club has pristine bent grass greens and lush fairways and tees. The average round of golf takes 3 to 3 1⁄2 hours, which leaves golfers time for life’s other commitments.
With three sets of tees, The Back Nine Club offers something for every skill level. With idyllic ponds coming into play often and big inviting greens surrounded by sandtraps, picking the right set of tees is the first challenge. From the tips of the championship blue tees, the course measures 3,012 yds, from the intermediate white tees 2,575 yds, and from the forward red tees 2,155 yds.
